With the Contrast x Salesforce integration you can get webinar data flowing to your Salesforce CRM in the click of a button.
ℹ️ The Contrast x Salesforce integration is only available on premium plans. Reach out to us to get started.
How to connect Contrast to Salesforce
Connecting the integration is simple and secure thanks to our OAuth integration. Simply click on Salesforce from the admin-app on Contrast.
Then you'll be asked to accept the following permissions. Accept these to continue.
After this your integration is successfully connected.
ℹ️ If instead of "connect" you see "talk to us" then please reach out to us first.
Get data flowing to Salesforce
After you've connected the integration, webinar data will automatically start flowing from Contrast to Salesforce. Data that has been captured before connecting to Salesforce will not be synced retro-actively.
Leads and contacts are identified by their email address. If a lead or contact already exists on your Salesforce instance, we'll only append information to it.
If no existing lead or contact is found, we will create a new contact with the following information:
Field name | Description |
First name | First name of lead |
Last name | Last name of lead |
Email address | Email used to register on Contrast |
Job title | Job title given in the registration form |
Phone number | Phone number given in the registration form |
First activity | Registration, Live or Replay view on Contrast |
ℹ️ You can decide what info you capture from registrants. Learn more about registration forms.
Contrast activity on Salesforce
We'll automatically log all webinar data as task activity on Salesforce. This way you can easily see who registers and watches your webinars.
Activities that are currently tracked:
Activity | Description |
Registration | This person has registered to a webinar on Contrast |
Live view (includes view %) | This person has attended a live webinar on Contrast |
Replay view | This person has attended a replay (on-demand) webinar on Contrast |
