Local recording ensures that every speaker’s video and audio is captured in Full HD, independent of their internet connection. This guarantees high-quality recordings, ideal for video podcasts, post-production editing, or repurposing content.
How It Works
Every speaker who is onstage during the webinar is recorded separately.
After the webinar, you’ll receive:
A recording of the full webinar as seen by the audience.
Separate video and audio files for each individual speaker.
Since recordings are saved locally on each speaker’s device, quality remains high even if internet connections are unstable.
How to Enable Local Recording
Currently, local recording is available through our closed beta program. If you're enrolled, our team will manually activate this feature for you.
Requirements
Modern Devices: Local recording is resource-intensive. We recommend using a newer computer to avoid performance issues during livestreaming.
Google Chrome Only: Local recording is supported exclusively on the latest version of Google Chrome. All speakers must use Chrome to ensure their streams are properly recorded.
Available storage: You need to have at minimum 5GB of available storage so the video can be temporarily stored on your device.
Connect your laptop to a power outlet
Important Reminders
Upload Before Leaving: Since the recordings are saved locally, speakers must stay in the webinar studio until their local files are fully uploaded to the cloud. Leaving early will result in the loss of their local recording.
Upload Time: Uploading can take up to 5 minutes after the event ends, depending on file size and internet speed.
Speaker Instructions
Please inform your speakers in advance by sharing this message:
Hi,
This event will be recorded both locally and in the cloud.
Please do not leave the webinar studio until you see a pop-up confirming your local recording upload is complete.
Uploading may take up to 5 minutes after the event concludes. Leaving earlier will result in the loss of your recording.
Thank you!
