Follow these steps to change the date, or time of your webinar and inform your registrants.

How to reschedule a webinar

Head over to the event you want to reschedule. Scroll down to the date and time. Select your new preferred date and time.

Contrast automatically checks whether people signed up to your webinar or not. If they have, you can send out an email informing them of this change. This email, will also automatically suggest a calendar update.

If you want to reschedule and notify your registrants, click on "Reschedule and notify". In case you don't want to notify them, you can simply click on "Reschedule"

Notify Your Registrants (Optional)

If you selected Reschedule and notify, a pre-filled email will appear. This message:

  • Includes the updated event date and time.

  • Is customizable—feel free to tweak the subject line or message.

  • Will prompt attendees to update their calendars automatically.

Click Send email when you're ready, or Send a preview to review it first.

That’s it!

Your event is now rescheduled. If you notified registrants, they’ll receive an email with the new date and a prompt to update their calendar.

How to cancel a webinar

Head over to the event you want to cancel. In the three-dotted menu, you'll find the option to cancel your event.

Contrast will automatically detect if people have registered to your event. In that case, you can decide to email these people notifying them about the cancellation.

Notify Your Registrants (Optional)

If you selected Cancel and notify, a pre-filled email will appear. You can of course update this message with your own text.

Click Send email when you're ready, or Send a preview to review it first.

Cancelled events for your registrants

Contrast automatically updated the calendar invite after you have send the email. The event will be set to cancelled.

The registration page for the cancelled event is still live. We add a cancelled state there to inform people about the cancellation. If you don't want this, you can still delete the event from Contrast.
