Add a consent, or opt-in field to the registration form

Find out how you can add a consent or opt-in field to your registration form. We'll also look at how to map it to HubSpot.

You can add a consent or opt-in field to the registration form on Contrast. Simply head over to settings > registration form.

Add a new field, and select the checkbox field.

Now add the text to the checkbox field, for example:

  • I accept the T&C of {yourcompany}

  • Keep me up to date about {yourcompany}

If you want to link to an external page, T&C or Privacy Policy for example, you can do this by selecting the text and clicking on the link icon. Add your link here.

Make sure to set this new field to required*

Custom registration and HubSpot

It's possible to map this field to a field in HubSpot. You can then use that property to for example auto-enroll people in a newsletter by adding to a certain segment.
