Create polls to engage your audience and collect valuable information.
Poll responses are available in the admin dashboard after the webinar. If you’re connected to HubSpot, poll responses are automatically added to a contact's activity timeline.
How to create a poll
In the Studio, click Polls in the toolbar, then select
Create a pollEnter your question and add at least two answer options
Choose whether attendees can select a single choice, or multiple choices
Results are shown to viewers by default. To hide the results, select
Hide results from viewersClick
Save
💡 Tip: You can create, and save polls ahead of your webinar.
Single choice polls
Select single choice polls in case you want your audience to select only one answer options.
Multiple choice polls
By selecting "multiple" your audience can select multiple answers to this poll.
How to start and end a poll
To start a poll, simply click "Start poll":
Live polls are shown using a red indicator, pressing it again, will stop the poll:
As participants submit their votes, the results will update in real time in the Studio.
Add polls to stream
Increase poll engagement by displaying the poll on stream. To add a poll on stream, simply click the green plus button when hovering the poll.
Make sure to start the poll, so people can vote.
Brand kit and polls
Polls on stream automatically take into account your brand kit, ensuring a branded and engaging experience. Results update in realtime. Here's an example of a poll on stream using Contrast's brand kit.
Polls for viewers
Viewers can vote on polls through the poll overlay, that is put on top of the chat. This ensures a high vote count for your polls.
💡Tip: you can leave a poll open after your webinar is over. People who watch the replay can continue to vote.
Analyze poll results
Poll results are updated in real time, for both the studio and in the admin dasboard. After your webinar is over, you can review all results in the "Polls" tab of your event.

Poll results can be downloaded as a CSV after the webinar is over
HubSpot and poll results
Poll results are automatically synced with HubSpot, and added to a contact's timeline. You can also use poll results in HubSpot features such as Workflows, and Segments.
