With HubSpot, you can easily register a list of attendees from HubSpot on Contrast.

If you're not using HubSpot, we recommend adding a group of registrants using Zapier.

πŸ’‘ Both HubSpot and Zapier are only available on paid plans

Register people on Contrast using HubSpot Workflows

We assume you have already got a list of registrants on HubSpot, that you now want to register on Contrast. If you don't yet have a list, we explain later in this article how to import a list into HubSpot.

Create a new workflow

In this workflow, you'll use the list of people that you want to register to Contrast.

Select your enrolment trigger

As your enrolment trigger, you create a group, with in there the list of people and make sure that they are set to "is member of list".

Make sure that your setup looks like this, except for of course the name of the list.

Setup your action

Setup an action inside your workflow and scroll down to connected apps. Here you should see Contrast. The action you want to choose is called Register Webinar Attendee.

Select the webinar

Now select the webinar you want to register your list of people to.

Turn on the workflow

To start the import of your list, you now need to review and publish your workflow. Make sure to review these settings before doing so.

Now your list of people will be registered to Contrast. They should appear in the analytics page of the webinar you selected earlier.

These people will also receive a confirmation email from Contrast.

Create a list from import (optional)

If you don't yet have a list on HubSpot, you can import a list into HubSpot manually. This is relevant when you for example have captured registrants in a form builder like Typeform for example.

Create a list by importing your registrants.

Upload your file to HubSpot and define how you'd like HubSpot to import these contacts. Here's more info on how HubSpot import works in detail.

Make sure to map your fields correctly. Remember, to register someone on Contrast, you need an email address, first name and last name. These are mandatory fields.

πŸ’‘ If you don't happen to have a last name. Worst case, you could hardcode these as "X".
